OMG- Industrial woodland! How gosh darned cool is this metal squirrel with walnut mold? I'm guessing it was for chocolate, but who knows? Maybe a candle? Or a toy? If you have any expertise in this area, I'd love to know more.
Yep- he'll be hopping into sosovintage next week. He's pretty big- maybe 8" tall?
I'm actually in Pennsylvania visiting family now, and I spent most of yesterday in antique stores. I saw quite a few of this style of mold- none with squirrels, though. They were all marked "antique candy mold" on the tags.
OMG! So cute! - Depending on how big it is, it might be for cake, too. Can you imagine a squirrel with walnut shaped nut cake? Too perfectly cute!
