Last night I took the night off from *work*. I can't even remember the last time I didn't spend my entire evening cutting fabric, packing up orders, doing laundry, and/or crocheting. So, I guess I was overdue for a little R and R. I put Sophie to bed at 8:00, then crawled into my own bed with this Elizabeth Berg book that I started earlier this week. I read for FOUR hours straight, finished the book, and went to bed. Bliss!!!
Oh my Jennie....there's slacking going on over there LOL
ReplyDeleteGood for you my lovely! You work so hard, I'm really pleased you had a change of evening...and finally got your book!
I do that too.. It's the 'just one more chapter' syndrome :o)
Have a lovely weekend Jennie :o)
4 days to go :o)
Yay! Good for you, Jennie. Isn't a long stretch of reading pure bliss? :-)
ReplyDeleteWas the book good? Guess it must have been because it kept you intrigued for 4 hours!! You deserve more than one four hour break in ages though....try to squeeze one in every week or two...you'll feel much better for it!

ReplyDeleteYes, I would recommend the book for sure to anyone who appreciates family drama and the intricacies of relationships in general. It made me think, for sure :)
