Rug Reveal

Eight entire bed sheets and countless hours later, my colorful rag rug is finished!

She measures 35 by 42 inches.

She's reversible!

And, she'll grace the shelves in sosorosey later today!

    Turned out great! I imagine the hardest part was ripping up those sheets and getting them to the point of being able to crochet. Happy day to you, Tammy

    Thank you, Donna and Tammy! I don't actually rip the sheets- I cut them by hand with electric scissors. Takes even longer than ripping, but it's how I roll.

    Thank you, too, Kristine! I so wish I knew exactly how long it took. I don't pay attention to how long it takes to prepare the fabric, and then I lose track of the crochet time. I am getting ready to make a custom rug that is larger than this one, and I'm going to try very hard to document the whole process to see how long it takes. Wish me luck!

    It turned out beautifully! I'm surprised you use an electric scissors, I've never been able to get a handle on those. I use a rotary cutter.
