Sneak Peek: Antique Quilt Blocks

Crafty chicas and chicos! Get ready! I have LOADS of these antique quilt blocks to list next week in sosovintage. They are far from perfect, but chock full of glorious shabby charm. Wouldn't these look absolutely gorgeous framed in a nursery or made into pillows or a bunting for the cozy cottage?

Do you have a great craft idea in mind for these? I'm happy to give you first dibs on the blocks of your choice- send me a message and let me know what colors you are looking for!

Mixed Emotions

When I found these partial quilt tops at one of my favorite thrift shops recently, I couldn't believe my eyes. There are 3 pieces, one medium and two large- all different patterns, all beautiful.
~*~
Can you believe the gorgeousness of those feedsack fabrics?
~*~
And would you believe that they are handsewn?
The stitching is so painstakingly even and tiny!
~*~
These works of art are in pristine condition, save for the fact that they are unfinished.
~*~
They make me want to smile and boohoo at the same time. How in the world could someone have parted with these? The love and work that went into them! *sigh*
~*~
On the bright side, maybe now they can be used to make something fabulous. Wouldn't they make amazing pillows? Or a special tote bag? I would love to see what someone could come up with!
