Thursday's Treasure

~*~
The silver lining behind having a terrible, horrible no good situation is the opportunity to see who your true friends are.  Who really has your back, who really cares about you.  I am so grateful to have such wonderful friends and family members during this difficult time.  You know who you are, and hopefully, how much you mean to me.  The flowers in the photo?  Picked by my hubby from our yard Tuesday evening and placed in the kitchen.  No fanfare.  No message.  A small yet extravagant gesture that says, "I am with you".  To those who are with me, thank you for your support.  I hope to be back in business soon!

Just Because

Being thoughtful isn't particularly difficult or time-consuming, right? I mean, I like to think of myself as thoughtful- don't we all? But isn't it true that sometimes you come across someone so *out-of-the-ordinary* thoughtful, that you just think WOW! She is SOOOO nice!
~*~
These little bowls were made for someone like that. She purchased them as "just because" gifts for four of her friends, and asked that I send them off with a little note directly to their homes. Wasn't that SO nice?

Here they are all bagged and tagged, nestled in their little shred nests, ready to go bring smiles to four faces. Thoughtful people like that make the stars shine a little brighter, don't they?

A Friend In Deed

My dear friend, Jessi, from jessijewels.etsy.com created this lovely treasury the other day and dedicated it to me! I'll take two of everything, please. What a super nice, *just because* gift, don't you think?

What was the last kind thing that you did for someone? Or that someone did for you? Please post a comment and share the love!
