Thursday's Treasure

Well, what a treat to be nominated for this award by the ultra kind Clara from Clara's Crochet Room! Now I get to share 7 random facts about myself! Let's see... in no particular order...

1. I've ridden in a hot air balloon.

2. I've had 2 body parts pierced besides my ears... these have both been abandoned for years!

3. My biggest pet peeve is tailgating/aggressive driving.

4. I'm an extreme night owl O_O

5. I was engaged to someone else besides my husband (not at the same time!)

6. My favorite foods are Italian and Mexican- and authentic mom and pop diner fare.

7. Some of my first jobs, in high school and college, were Long John Silver's cashier, shoe saleswoman, Dominos Pizza delivery girl, and Marriot restaurant waitress. Nothing topped the polyester pirate hat from LJS, though.

Ooh! How pretty is this! Thank you so much, Angela, for thinking of my blog for this award- I am thrilled and honored. I understand that I am supposed to pass this on, but I see that most of my blog friends have already received this one - lucky ducks!

I will keep my eyes open, though!

Feeling The Love

I have reached a point in my holiday preparations where I can step back from the stress and feel the joy of the season! This doesn't mean that I don't still have 5 million things on the to-do list, just that I know I have at least that many things to be grateful for this Christmas. How fitting, then, that my dear friend Robin at BeadNestDesigns recently blessed me with the honor of this award. I can't think of anything I'd rather do than spread the love right now! So, without further ado, I'm off to do just that :)
