It's a clever holder for a plastic rain hat, the kind that 1960's ladies wore to protect their perfectly coiffed bouffants.

I agree with laceandsteam thats what I thought first.I looked at what you had posted how long ago and that was my first guess.
ReplyDeleteI sure do know what that is...it holds a little rain bonnet made of plastic. We had them as kids. I always loved folding them out and they seemed to last forever.
