Stop Thief!

My petunias have been dying off.  I figured it was just the change in weather...until I caught this bushy-tailed bandit pink-pawed (like red-handed, but much cuter) in my planter.  Who knew these blooms were such a delicacy?  He's lucky I'm ready for summer to be over!

So?

Mr. Adorable here had "squirrel" on his price tag at the charity shop.  I'm not so sure.  He has a longer neck and taller overall stature than the squirrels I see in my yard.  Could it be a meerkat?  Please weigh in with your opinion as to what kind of animal this little guy is... he already looks a little distressed and I can't add to that by calling him the wrong thing in his listing!

OMG- Industrial woodland! How gosh darned cool is this metal squirrel with walnut mold? I'm guessing it was for chocolate, but who knows? Maybe a candle? Or a toy? If you have any expertise in this area, I'd love to know more.

A Show of Hands

As soon as I saw this little guy, I thought he was a certain kind of animal. Now that I look at him more closely, I see that he resembles another animal, too!! Would you please cast your vote by leaving a comment... is this a squirrel or a skunk?

Those Squirrelly Squirrels

Spring has sprung in my yard! As I stepped closer to inspect the two crocuses that have popped up near the driveway, my eye was drawn to several mossy clumps laying randomly about. Now that the snow has finally melted, the squirrels are in a hunger frenzy - digging away to find all of their buried treasure from the fall. Good luck, little guys!
