Thursday's Treasure

We have a bumper crop of blue hydrangeas out back... lucky me!  Hubby worked his magic getting rid of any crawly inhabitants before he brought in a giant armload.  I hope.

These remind me of my Grandma Copeland and all of her "snowball" bushes.  I didn't know their proper name back then, but I loved them just the same!

My great-grandfather use to keep massive bushes of them in his garden. Everytime I see them I think of him. Beautiful!

Oh yes, these blue delights have been flourishing around here as well. Unfortunately they're not in my yard, but I always admire them elsewhere. Beautiful!

Me again. Jennie, I'm having trouble leaving comments on Donna's blog for some reason. Grrr. Not sure what's wrong, but thought I could say "hello" to her via your blog. I hope you don't mind!

Hello, Donna, I haven't forgotten you!

I adore hydrangeas, and they always amaze me, as they can change their colour between pink through the spectrum to blue depending on the soil type i.e. high ph etc.. I'm no scientist, but this amazes me so much lol :o)

Your's look like beauties, and the seperate flowers press beautifully..has Sophie tried flower pressing yet Jennie?
Hope you're gradually catching up on all your work my lovely.
