The Game: I show you my thrift haul from one recent outing. You leave a comment with your best guess as to how much I paid. This does include VA sales tax. The person who comes closest WITHOUT going over wins.

The Rules: One clear and definitive guess per person- no amending your answer. Please do not choose the same answer as a person who came before you- read the comments prior to leaving your guess. The Stuff: This time the loot comes from a small hospital charity shop in old town Manassas, non-sale day. Prices here are amazingly low on most items, though they are a bit higher for vintage items of probable value.

Makeover Monday: 11/2

I used this entire ball of twine last night to make...

A jute wine bag! Or a t*wine bag...hehe. I REALLY love the way this turned out. Not only is it an awesome way to wrap your gift, but it is actually functional long after the wine is gone. Fold the top over and you have a natural fiber clutter keeper of adjustable height, perfect for keys & cell, seashells, soaps- you name it.

I know how much I will charge for these in my shop, but I am super curious as to what you would think it should cost. Without knowing the time it took or the cost of materials, what's your *best price* for this item? I promise to come back and tell you the real price later this evening once I've had a few comments...
