In case you haven't noticed, I've been fascinated with crocheting more than yarn and fabric lately. After the jute t*wine bag, I decided to try my hand at making a dainty gadget bag- out of cotton twine (ok- string).

I added the ruffle at the top for a feminine touch, and then went for all out whimsy with the button ends. The inner portion of the bag is 4" long by 3" wide- perfect for a cell or small camera. Now I see a wonderful use for all of the single and vintage buttons I have been hoarding! Any idea what color combo I should try next?

I'm liking this new twine projects of yours. They may be a hit if done in the Christmasy shades of blue, green, gold to hold wines, etc. for holiday presents.
My goodness....you have been a busy bee since I last checked in!!! And what wonderful thingys you've been crafting!! I love that buttony baggy!!! Brick red with sweet little silver or gold bells would be perfect for the holidays! Your wonderful t*wine bag is perfect for this time of year...what a beautiful bag to slip a gift into...quite a fetching "two gifts in one" idea!!! And the stars!! What a delightful sight they are...all so absolutely precious...such a rainbow of color and each one a "star" on its own!! WOW, crafter extrodinaire!!!
Oh, thank you Evelyn and whitetail for the ideas!! I can't change the color of the twine itself...well, maybe if I get my super crafty mom to do her dye magic trick someday...but the idea of using buttons in reds and greens and golds and silvers- with little jingle bells, too?? LOVE it!!!
That is super cute. I always like the brighter colored things you make. Just cheery.

That is really cute. I have bought similar little bags minus buttons for soap savers.
