Makeover Monday: 3/1

I started with the *chosen* fabric: palest blue with teal and mustard design.
~*~
Meet your makeover! You all did such a fabulous job of choosing that I believe I will ask for your help every week. Come back tomorrow to view the fabric choices for next week... and have a marvelous Monday!!!
~*~
ps- You convinced me to go ahead and swallow my pride. I took "before" photos of the craft disaster area, and will post my first installment of the craft room makeover series in a week or so. Thanks so much for the encouragement!

this basket is gorgeous! and i agree - can't wait to see someone else who doesn't have a perfect craft space. i've been thinking to blog about my makeshift space, but keep wanting to wait til i properly transform the room into something martha would approve of before a big reveal!

best,

Beautiful job, as always. How do you create your basket handles? Is there some type of form under there or are you just a crochet goddess?

Thank you everyone! I was extra excited to do this one just so I could deliver on your favorite :)

Victoria- I don't use a form, so I guess I'm a crochet goddess- lol! I crochet around previous stitches to make my handles- my very own technique as far as I know. It seems to work pretty well in that the handle is flexible but still manages to keep its shape.

I just knew that fabric was a winner! Your basket is marvelous! Your customer must feel so proud of herself for choosing you to craft a future heirloom for her family! Great work!!

Jennie, this basket is beautiful :) I knew the mustard would pop out, and it does beautifully. I've never seen anyone make handles like you do, and I'm very jealous as now I've seen yours, mine are nowhere near as beautiful! I'll definately have to go away and practise (lots & lots!) I'm just going to vote now on next weeks makeover! Take care Jennie ...Donna P.S. Can't wait for the before, during and after pics!!
