Special Salt & Pepper Sets

The time has come for me to list some of the salt and pepper sets that I seem to be collecting lately. There is something just special about each of these- whether it is their color, shape, condition, or personality.

Cute shakers, Jennie! The milk glass pair is my favorite. I'm afraid our shakers are only boring wooden mills.

So so cute! I especially like the milk glass shakers. Question: how do you know if something is truly considered milk glass or just white glass?

Did you have gorgeous spring weather in your neck of the woods today? So lovely here in NJ today. Sunny and warm.

I have ceramic chef cat and waiter cat salt & pepper shakers. They were a gift. DH and I don't use pepper, so we alternate the chef cat and waiter cat as salt shakers.

I thought the cows were pretty cute! :)

Thanks, Kristine- yep, my personal shakers aren't too exciting either. Weird!

Well, Victoria- I have used this site to help me with milk vs white glass, but there isn't an easy answer. I am very much still learning, too: http://www.ehow.com/how_5044204_tell-glass-regular-white-glass.html

Yes, we had a gorgeous day! Seventies and bright sun...daffodils are out and forsythia is starting to pop :)

Sierra- how cute that neither of you use pepper- sound slike you are a perfect match. Two salts would be perfect for me, too :)

Bridget- hmmm- you could very well be right! I will have to tag with both. Somehow they just looked too cute to be bulls, but I do see those little horns...Happy spring to you too!

I love the milk glass pair. My salt is in a small jar canister, I used the coarse salt and my pepper is the one I bought from Costco, nothing vintage or exciting.
