Friday's Favorite Fabric Finds

I've been on a fabric buying spree since I returned from vacation!  These are just a few of the *new* sheet designs coming to sosovintage in the next few days.

Gorgeous white cherry blossom branches on aqua
~*~
I had this in blue at one point, and I have it in yellow.  The pink is by far my favorite- surprise!
~*~
Really bright and bold varied width stripes in green and blues
~*~
I have this in the blue colorway.  Love the orange and yellow combo!
~*~

Wow, there is a LOT going on in this fabric!  Flowers and dots and gingham- oh my!
~*~

I know it sounds silly, but I really don't like to buy fitted sheets because they are too hard to fold nicely.  I made an exception for this pattern, though.  These colorful bouquets are beautiful!

We are currently bracing for Hurricane Irene, and doing our best to stock up on necessary supplies.  If I'm not blogging this weekend, you'll know that our power is out.  The worst of it will be Saturday night, but we never know how long we'll be out of commission.  Our neighborhood has it's own water supply, so we should be able to flush toilets and take cold showers.  We just have our fingers crossed that the winds don't cause any of our towering trees to come crashing down on the roof or cars.  We'll be sleeping downstairs for sure!  I'll be back with the scoop as soon as I can.  If you are also in the path of the storm, stay safe!

Goodness Jennie, I sure am worried for you all!

My thoughts are gonna be with you all weekend my lovely friend.
You take care now.
And I hope, hope, hope all is ok, and that you still keep your trees and power!

Oh my goodness - where did you find that cherry blossom on aqua fabric?! I've been looking everywhere for fabric just like that to make runners for our wedding tables in maui. Beautiful!

Sorry to say I found it at a thrift store, Carrie. One of those "probably won't find it again" fabrics. Good luck with your search!!
