This Thanksgiving tableau was the scene of our front walk on Friday 12/7. How embarrassing to be a week into December and still have pumpkins out!

Mike got our Christmas flag out there on Saturday, and on Sunday he put up our lighted star/snowflake. It is high up on the chimney, and only looks great at night, so no pics of that. I added snowflake window clings to both of our front windows this year- they look cute, but aren't super visible unless you're right up on them.

We took the old plants out of the planter and replaced them with scrap boughs cut from the base of our Christmas tree. I added a few thrifted red balls for a pop of festive color. Now at least we look like we know what month it is!

Happy week 2 of December! Two more weeks until Santa comes- eeeeeeeek!! Are you ready?

Oh I'm gettin' ready, Jennie! I just get so excited like a kid. I CAN'T wait to see everyone open their gifts.
Our pumpkin suddenly just disappeared from our front door a few weeks ago... Where did it go? Did someone steal it? Really!!!??? Nope, my husband used it to make soup for his boss. Ha ha ha! Well, at least the pumpkin didn't stay there until 2nd week of December... Which probably would have been the case if it wasn't for Jay's cooking need on a Sunday when all stores are closed...
I like your little basket of pine scraps. It looks very scrappy happy Christmas to me. :D

Love your sprigs of festive charm Jennie :)
I had to take our manky old pumpkin and pop it on the compost whilst Geri was at school, (about a week after Halloween) as she kept saying i couldn't chuck it away! lol
Yours still looked good in December though!!
