Friday's Favorite Fabric Finds

Happy Friday the 13th!  My apologies to anyone out there with friggatriskaidekaphobia, though if you have it, you are probably too busy freaking out today to read this post.  Anyhoo, the suitcases are unpacked, the laundry is done, and we're back to our little routine around here.

Today is Field Day at Sophie's school, and I will be in charge of the *frisbee toss* for a couple hundred 6, 7 and 8 year olds.  I plan to pre-medicate with some Advil, and do a celebratory run to the thrift store when I survive.

I guess it's a no-brainer that the pink roses is my favorite fabric, but all of these have their own special charm.  The red check is super picnic-pretty :)

Other than a Sunday evening birthday party, we don't have too much that we have to do this weekend.  I'll be posting some gorgeous quilt photos from a sosovintage customer, and some fun art finds, too.  What will you be doing?

Friday's Favorite Fabric Finds

Happy Friday!  TGIF, as far as I'm concerned.  What started out as a nice week went south on Tuesday when Sophie came down with a bad cold.  She stayed home Wednesday and Thursday, and now guess who has the cold?  Ugh.  Anyhoo- I found some nice striped cottons recently, and a couple of pretty florals.  Take a peek!

Would you believe that after weeks of a non-winter, we have the prospect of a big snowstorm for Sunday?  I'll keep you posted on that.  I'd love a big storm, as long as we have plenty of food and don't lose power.

I have some beautiful work to show you this weekend- a unique item that a customer recently shared- so be sure to come back and visit.  Also, there WILL be a makeover this Monday.  And Mom's rug?  3/4 finished now!!  Happy weekend everyone :)

Friday's Favorite Fabric Finds

Well, TGIF, friends.  All I can say is that I hope your week has been better than mine.  I'll give you the short version of my major woe: check engine light, spark plugs and coils, exhaust manifold gasket, all THREE catalytic converters.  Not necessarily in that order, but with a combined work estimate of, um, about $5000.  So, yeah.  Your week is bound to have been better!  Here's to a great weekend, because I'm sure we could all use one.  And in that spirit, here are some beautiful fabrics coming to sosovintage today!

And my favorite find of the week- these big pink hibiscus flowers with the violet and orange accents.

This was a real score because it was a whole 4 piece set.  The pillowcase pair is for sale in the shop, too!

We are supposed to finally have some fall-like weather this weekend, so we're hoping to get apple picking or to a fall fair or some such thing.  Whatever it is, we'll be celebrating October for sure!  Be sure to come on back soon- I have a game of "Price is Right" up my sleeve for the weekend, and a multi-fabric makeover set for Monday!
