Raggy!

Raggy is one of my daughter's favorite words. Of course, to her it means Scooby is yelling for Shaggy. It's one of my favorite words, too... but to me, it is the way to describe items I crochet from primitive rag balls.

This is my latest basket, created last night from a new set of balls that arrived this week. I adore the colors of this one, and all of the textures, too. Stripes and ginghams and florals and calicos- oh my! Look for this sweet gal in sosorosey later today; she is a one-of-a-kind, American folk art treasure.

it's beautiful! love all the different colours, I thought for a second it was a rug not a basket because of the name...

Funny--as soon as I saw this post title, I said (in my best Scooby Doo voice), "Raggy." Then I continued to read on about the meaning for your daughter and you. Too cute!
