Spill It Session #2

Well, last time we got to know a bit more about each other by divulging our celebrity crushes. This week, I thought it would be interesting to learn about each other's, um, "guilty food pleasures." You know, the things we choose to eat that may not be appealing to the masses. The things that are probably not healthy, or that might even make other people shudder.
~*~
For me, these days, it's Spaghettios. My husband definitely finds my desire for this "food" abhorrent. And really, I'm not sure the correct term for those little round things is meatballs. But still, I love these. With garlic powder sprinkled on top. Yeah. In my defense, this is not a daily or even weekly indulgence. In fact, I have gone for months, maybe years, without tasting their tomato-y goodness. But lately, I find myself drawn to them in the grocery store, and I always like to have a can on hand- just in case!

So, please (oh please) don't leave me hanging with this stunning revelation; leave a comment and share your own guilty food pleasure!

I, too, like Spaghettio's with some parm cheese sprinkled on them. And only the one with those meaty balls in it.

But, something I eat at home and not in public is Catalina Red French dressing mixed with Blue Cheese Dressing! Must be the red dressing, two parts red dressing to one part blue cheese. I get my salads to go, so I can go home and do this!

There, I said it.

Frozen eggrolls...I like to zap them in the microwave and dip them in hot sauce! Nothing could be finer.

Oh my goodness- you all just rock! Thank you so much for sharing these intimate details about yourselves!

Karen and Donna and Evelyn- I ccan't say I've tried any of your concoctions. Donna, I think we can get Stilton cheese here- but I never have. Our chinese places tend to have crab balls instead of shrimp ones...the shrimp they do on toast as an appetizer.

Clara- I was a huge fan of LaChoy and Chung King frozen eggrolls growing up. I can't find them anymore :(

On one hand, this is the strangest conversation I've been in on in a long time, on the other hand, it is like a train wreck and I can't help but to look.

How's the ant farm doing?

Oh--spaghettios--I ate so much of them as a kid! I use to throw Fritos on top of them to kick them up with more salt! I know--gross!

I do eat a lot healthier now. Not too many canned or frozen items. However, my kids LOVE Kraft Macaroni and Cheese in that blue box. I will scoop some out of the pot after I mix in the orange powdered cheese, because it tastes so darned good!

Laura~ My Dad is a huge liver and onions fan. I have been known to eat a fried chicken liver and like it.

Karen- I KNOW, LOL! I love it! Never thought I'd enjoy a trainwreck on my own blog, but, there ya go. Ants are still moving, but they aren't really doing anything special. My husband thinks we should spring for a queen next time to spice things up.

Victoria!!! Kraft Mac and Cheese is a staple in my house. I make it about twice a month, lol. It is sooooo yummy. Not a shudder food in my book. Now if you crumbled frozen whitefish bits on top or something...

Beef jerky. Mmmm. It'll probably kill me, which is why I haven't had it in years, but I do love it.

Lauren- I've been known to love me some ramen noodles, too. Best I ever had were cooked over a campfire in the middle of nowhere in a rain storm. Darn that person who ever told us sodium was bad for us!

Kristine- I go through Beef Jerkey phases myself. I don't like the kind that has any sort of nitrate or chemical taste, but there is a brand that Trader Joes sells- some all natural thing- that is REALLY good. Hmm. Maybe I'll go to Trader Joes tomorrow...haven't been in awhile as it's not super close. Sophie may just enjoy it!
