Makeover Monday: 10/3

It's been a loooong time since I started a big crochet project just for the heck of it.  Poking around in my stash, though, I found all these sheets that were just too pretty to sit around waiting for "someday".

After I got started, I realized I needed more fabric... so I added these two lovelies to the mix.

Voila!  This fun rug is about halfway finished.  It should measure about 3 feet by 4 feet when it is all said and done.  I'm looking forward to seeing her all laid out for a photo shoot in a week or so :)

Welcome to a new week!  I got my flu shot and a TB test today.  I need the TB test because I am going through the rehiring process with my old school system.  Not back to teaching, but working for human resources as a collaborator for teachers who are in need of support.  The hours are flexible and the pay is good, so woohoo!  Other than that, this week I have a coffee date with another mom and I am volunteering at Sophie's school for the kindergarten hearing and vision screenings.  What are your big plans for the near future?  If you haven't already done it, don't forget to leave your comment for the Price is Right game (see post below)!

Oh wow--back to work. Good for you. Flexible. Good money. Sounds perfect!

Love that rug--those colors work up so nicely together. Great way to destash a lot of fabric.

Lovely rug! Do you think it would go 6 feet? I think somehting like that would work nicely in my hall between two bedrooms...what do you think...colorwise?

Mom- I'm not sure about the colors there- I'd have to see it. I could make it 6 feet if you like it for there- or I can always make one with the colors you choose :)
