Friday Fun!

TGIF!!! Let's have some fun, shall we? I love to see what other people bring home from their thrifting expeditions, so I thought you might like to see what I bought today. All of this loot came from the Salvation Army this morning. Prices there seem to be going up and up, so these are the things I couldn't leave behind.
~*~
After checking it all out- leave your best guess as to the total cost in the comments. I'll come back late tonight and let you know the actual amount spent. Winner gets the satisfaction of winning- and 50% off any one item in sosovintage should you find something you love :)
Here we go!
~*~

Aqua Hull pottery plate, enamelware roses mug, painted milkglass heart, shapely glass stoppered cruet
~*~

6 aqua and yellow linen napkins, 4 linen floral napkins, 3 sturdy cotton pillowcases, one ET pillowcase

~*~

Perfect retired rose fiestaware- large disk pitcher, salt and pepper shakers, gravy boat, and large covered bowl

~*~

Small yellow fiesta disk pitcher, red-lidded nutgrinder, scottie dog cannister

~*~
What a haul! Can't wait to see who comes closest without going over! Let the guessing begin!

I'll say $35. Just for the record, this is the first time I've played "The Price is Right." I hope I'm lucky!

Thinking of all the bargains that you usually get Jennie =) I will guesstimate at approx. $25.00!
Hope I win!:) I especially like the little milk glass heart and the nut grinder!
Have a great weekend Jennie,
Kind regards,
Donna.

You lucky thing, you! The closest Salvation Army to me is in a questionable neighborhood (several towns south), and the only thing I leave there with is a nasty smell of cigarettes. Yuk!

Well, not being a thrifter I'll just guess for the fun of it! I'll say $52.00 and keep my fingers crossed! Good Luck to all who enter because half off is a very generous "game" offer!

I would have to say $31.00. This is so fun, I can't wait to find out what the real price was. :)

Thank you all so much for playing my version of "The Price Is Right"...Carol B. that was my favorite game show growing up- I used to watch it with the same grandma who taught me to crochet :)

So, good thing I didn't claim to have gotten great deals today. I did find great stuff, but I paid for it. Most of you drove that point home with your guesses, lol.

I paid $72 and some change...it's the fiestaware's fault! Each of the pitchers and the large bowl were $10.99! I tried walking away-I really did.

Anyhow, let's see...the person who came closest without going over is....Kathryn!!!!

Congrats woman- so glad you popped in and played. Along with your satisfaction, don't forget that you can choose an item in sosovintage for 50% off if you'd like- just let me know :)))

This was fun! Should I make it a weekly feature? I think I should- it will keep me from putting anything icky in my cart...on Fridays anyway.

Congratulations, Kathryn!

Jennie, I like the guessing games! I think they would be a real hit. :-)
