Remember THIS POST from waaaay back in October? I'm embarrassed at how long ago my mom ordered this rug. But, I'm back in the crocheting saddle and halfway there!

Current size is 30" wide and 36" long. Heading toward six feet long- the largest rug I've made in a very long time. And, the only rug I've made in this style so far.

I'm going to spend the next 3 feet paying veeeeery close attention to exactly how much time is put into cutting fabric and crocheting this type of rug. I want to have a strict formula to follow so that I can easily give price quotes when someone else wants this same type of rug.

Mom, I'm publicly promising to have this finished by the end of February! I can't wait to see how it looks in your hallway :)

Well glorey bee!!!! She certainly is a beauty! The fabric, as well as the colors, look fabulous together! Honey, her name, is exactly what I want! She will certainly look very elegant lying on my repurposed, warm, oakish color, polished wood floor! Thank You so much!!
PS...not to worry about any deadline....I can wait, knowing what I have to look forward to is most enjoyable!!
Jennie, I loved this rug then, and I love it now :o)
I think the stitches in this are awesome, they really blend well for upcycled crochet!
It's beautiful and looks kinda like a watercolour in the way each colour washes into the next! :o)
Lucky Mum! :o)
Our *snow* fell as *rain* :o(
Happy weekend Jennie.
xxOOxx
It is turning out lovely! Keep it up! And good luck with the timing yourself part!
