Thursday's Treasure

~*~
It's rare that I walk out of a thrift store with just one thing.  I usually leave with several items or none at all.  But, the other day, this precious wooden duck was the only treasure worth standing in line over.

 ~*~
And look!  When you pull her string, she flaps her arms and legs!  She's an Alfred Mertens Pfullingen design from 1967.  Absolutely adorable colors and expression.

And woo!  On a different day, I spied these Vera Neumann vinyl placemats in with the holiday gear.  These can sell for as much as $10 per mat.  Guess how many I got for $2.99??   Leave a comment with your guess and I'll be back to share the answer tonight!

Have you found any treasures lately?  I'd love to hear about them :)

Nine!!! I got NINE!!! I need to clean them up well, and then we'll see how they do. I am thinking of setting up a listing for $10 for one and letting people choose their quantity. Good idea?
