Wednesday's Works

~*~
My GIANT string bowl is finally finished!  It measures 50 cm. wide and 20 cm. high, and is destined for a final home in South Korea.

I love the lines of the stitches.  Would you believe almost 3500 feet of string went into this?

I couldn't resist having Sophie climb in to help show the scale of this basket!   While I was at it, I had her model the other thing I've been working on: this adorable hat!  This is my first effort at the new pattern I purchased on Etsy.  More details and a final version of the hat will come in another post.

Gotta love my goofy girl!  She makes taking product photos so much fun.

She is such a beautiful girl. Good sport too! You know, I couldn't picture the size of this basket--the pictures with Sophie in it really show it off.

What a beautiful basket!! 3500 feet of string is a whole lotta string!!! When the string gets "all wound up" like that, it sure looks pretty!!

Now the hat....well. I'll take one! Will let you know what color....that's a tough thing for me!! Is it cotton yarn or wool or something else....machine washable? Just love it and gotta have one!

Lastly, but not leastly,....that girl of yours....a true beauty! When you made her, you outdid yourself....she's a one of a kind sosorosey original!!!

love 'me's comments :D

That basket must have taken an age and sore fingers with all that string!!

The hat is beautiful, as is the model :)
Looking forward to it's own post too -the hat not the model-although a Sophie blog post may not be a bad idea :D

Have a great day my lovely and take care.
