Don't be sad... It wasn't just you who didn't get a Christmas card from me. No, silly, I didn't take you off my list! I didn't forget you! Something had to give, you see- so that's what gave for me this year. Last year I mailed cards out, but my tree didn't have any ornaments. I pick my battles and sacrifices carefully around here. So please know, I'm wishing you all the happiest of holidays and a healthy 2011 filled with loving people and loads of memory making :)

What a wonderful post! It's so refreshing to read your open and honest thoughts. Love to visit your blog and keep up with your very busy life! And a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous, blessed New Year to you and to your family!
Totally understand. I used to make Christmas cards each year with a family photo, cutting, gluing, printing, ribbons, etc. For the past 3 years I stopped. I found that making 40-50 cards became a chore and not a joy. So...I'm with you.
Have a great weekend!
dont feel so bad, I am not sending out cards either, everyone in my friends and family rhelm are send those picture cards with the family and their new babies, I don't have a new baby to show off (my hubby and I have no babies) so we feel we have really no reason to send out those cards....(we are grinches this year) lol
I sent the cards, but have a bare tree with just lights this year.... wayyy tooo busy for everything else.
Happy Holidays Jennie !
I never doubted you, Jennie dear. In fact, we're in the same boat! I meant to mail out cards this year, but that idea was forgotten in the hubbub of the end of the semester. Don't fret; we all still love you. Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your time with your family. <3
I am feeling the same. With just a few cards trickling in this year I've also made the decision to stop. Those we love know we love them and we keep in touch and our friends, pretty much the same. Don't feel bad about it, as you say, something has to give.
